Biography
- Carl Robert Belew was an American country music singer and songwriter.
Belew recorded for Decca, RCA Victor, and MCA in the 1950s through 1970s, and he wrote singles for Johnnie & Jack, Eddy Arnold, Jim Reeves, and other artists.[1]
Carl Robert Stover was the son of Carl W.
and Leora Stover and was born in Oklahoma in 1931.[2]
He married Catherine Stover in 1951.[2]
He died of cancer at the age of 59. [3][4] He is interred at Ross Mayes Cemetery.

He was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1976.[4]
