Cooking was such a large part of Sameh Wadi's upbringing it's somewhat shocking that the young and budding cook never considered it a career path until much later in life.

As we learned in Part 1 of his chef profile, his dad was a world traveler and an amazing cook, constantly bringing somewhat foreign ingredients home to experiment with in the kitchen.

His mother excelled at traditional Middle Eastern fare, teaching her curious young sous chef along the way. And his grandmother, well, she was a patient, impressive woman.
